The Company (then named “Belpahar Refractories Limited”) was incorporated in the year 1958 as a joint venture between Tata Iron & Steel Company, India and Didier Werke, Germany. Over the years, the Company grew significantly under the stewardship of illustrious Tata Group, India and subsequently under Krosaki Harima Corporation (KHC), Japan, a world leader in refractories technology. The association with Krosaki Harima Corporation has helped the Company to access world class refractories technology required for its long-term growth.
